These terms are between you and CARDIGITAL - FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which publishes Wind Down Daily. By using the app you accept them.
What Wind Down Daily is, and what it is not
It is a wellbeing practice app. It gives you a short guided practice each day, picked from three numbers you log.
It is not medical care, not a medical device, not therapy, and not a diagnosis. It does not treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and nothing in it should be taken as medical advice. It is not a substitute for seeing a doctor or a therapist.
If a doctor has prescribed you something, keep taking it and talk to them. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country. Do not use this app instead.
Your own judgement
Some practices involve breathing patterns and gentle movement. Stop if anything hurts, makes you dizzy, or feels wrong, and speak to a doctor before starting if you are pregnant, have a heart, lung, or blood pressure condition, a history of seizures, or any condition that breathing exercises or movement could affect. You use the practices at your own discretion.
Your account
One person, one account. Keep access to your email address, because that is how you sign in. Tell us at support@winddowndaily.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
Money
- The first five days are free and do not ask for a card.
- After that, the thirty day programme is a one-off payment, and continuing afterwards is a monthly subscription.
- Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us, under their terms. A subscription renews until you cancel it, and you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, not here.
- Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. We cannot issue a refund on their behalf, but write to us anyway and we will help you ask.
- Prices can change. If they do, the change applies from your next renewal, and you will be told before it happens.
What belongs to whom
The practices, recordings, text, and the app itself are ours. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them while your account is active. Please do not record, copy, re-publish, or resell them.
What you log belongs to you. See Privacy.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time, from this page or inside the app. We can close an account that is being used to abuse the service or other people, and we will say why.
The legal small print
The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we do not promise a particular outcome for your sleep, your stress, or anything else. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
